Emmert International Adds To A 20-Axle Schnabel Rail Car To Its Rail Fleet
March 2004 - Early in 2004, Emmert International added to our rail fleet with the purchase of the BBCX-1000, a 20-axle Schnabel rail car. This car first put into service in September of 1972 was overhauled in 2002. The original loading platform was replaced in 2000 with a longer platform, which is 47' 6" with a load capacity of 410 tons.
