Emmert International Launches New Website

Portland, ORE - August 2, 2004 - Emmert International, specialists in heavy haul transportation and rigging services, today announced the launch of a new company website that will better serve their customers with improved information distribution and visitor resources. The site, built by InSite Dynamics of Portland, Oregon, was developed to display the company's high-profile projects, as well as equipment profiles and equipment for sale, using integrated web-based content management systems.

"We're very excited about the new site," says Terry Emmert, President. "We've been working on the site for some time and are eager to take advantage of the site's functionality to help us provide better communications and information to our customers. Hopefully we're setting an example of how an industrial company like Emmert can benefit from the web."

In building the site, Emmert identified the importance of demonstrating their heavy haul and rigging services to prospects. As a result, a major site objective was to build in a project display system using InSite Dynamics' InSite Portfolio that was easy to maintain, quick to update, and user friendly. Also, because Emmert manufactures some of their own equipment, the site was constructed to support Emmert's equipment sales efforts using InSite Products, a products showcase system that serves as a catalog or e-commerce front-end. Equipment can easily be added to the site where key details and fast search capabilities are available.
