ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY

Emmert International conducts business ethically and responsibly through programs that focus on compliance to environmental regulatory requirements. These programs, established to ensure continual improvement, are realized through initiatives to prevent pollution and waste by establishing goals for meeting measured objectives which:

 

  • promote leadership and participation of personnel through their input derived from clearly defined roles and responsibilities regarding environmental conservation onsite, offsite, and at home;
  • promote environmental awareness through communication of policies and programs to personnel through training and daily operations, and to stakeholders and the public through press and internet;
  • preserve the environment through initiatives and programs which ensure on-going audits, with timely review of goals, objectives, targets, metrics, gaps, corrective actions, and preventive actions;
  • preserving the environment through awareness and commitment to ongoing activities which identify, analyze, predict, manage, mitigate, and prevent pollution risks to flora and fauna.

  • ensure health and safety management through initiatives and programs ensuring on-going audit, with timely review of goals, objectives, targets, metrics, gaps, corrective actions, and preventive actions;
  • ensure commitment to safety and health through ongoing activities which identify, analyze, predict, manage, mitigate, and prevent dangers onsite, offsite, and at home.
