TUNNEL BORING MACHINE
The TBM Cutter Face (23'L x25'-6" dia 965,000 lbs) and the TBM Tail Shield assembly (also 25'-6" diameter weighing 141,056 lbs) were lifted 110' vertically from the Port Shaft in NE Portland and transported to the Opera Shaft in SE Portland.
HEAT EXCHANGER CHANGE OUT
Using jack and slide methods Emmert International removed the original heat exchanger from foundation and replaced it with a new unit at a smelter in Utah.
