Clackamas, OR. – Today, September 23, 2014, at 12:00pm, Emmert International, the Clackamas-based structural moving company, will be relocating a turn-of-the-century building from Camp Withycombe. Emmert, who has already raised the 50 ton building, will move it to a pre-dug site so that it can be set on a new foundation.
Howard Hughes built the Spruce Goose in 1947. The 150 Ton Plane features an entirely wooden frame and a wingspan over 300 feet. Emmert International is proud to have been a part of preserving this historic icon.Learn More
Emmert International performed the site transportation, lifting and rough setting of a 886, 250 lbs. Steam Generator Stator at the Sandy Creek Power Plant in Texas.
